Licensing

A website that collects quote requests and passes each one to a licensed insurance agent. That is the whole of it. We do not quote, price, bind, issue, service or cancel insurance, and we are not paid commission by any carrier.

Because we do not transact insurance, we hold no producer licence and no carrier appointments. Any page, advert or caller suggesting otherwise is wrong, and we would like to know about it.

The person who contacts you about your request is a licensed insurance agent, licensed in the state you told us you live in. State licensing is a hard condition of receiving a request here, not a preference: a request can only reach an agent licensed where you are.

That agent will tell you their name, the agency they work for and their licence details when they contact you. You are entitled to ask, and a licensed agent will not mind being asked.

• Every state keeps a public register of licensed producers. For Nevada it is held by the Nevada Division of Insurance.
• The National Association of Insurance Commissioners runs a national lookup covering every state at nipr.com. You need the agent's name or their National Producer Number.
• If someone cannot or will not give you a name and a licence number, stop and call us.

The agents who receive these requests are appointed with Progressive, Travelers, National General, Trexis, American Modern and others. Those appointments belong to them, not to us. Which carriers can actually be shopped for you depends on your state, the product and your own history.

If something went wrong, call us first on (702) 665-7011. We would rather hear it than not.

If your complaint is about an agent, an insurer or a policy, your state insurance regulator takes complaints directly and will investigate them. In Nevada that is the Division of Insurance. You do not need our permission and you do not need to tell us first.
