Privacy policy
CoverZing collects quote requests and passes them to one licensed insurance agent. This page says exactly what we hold, who receives it, how long we keep it, and how to make us delete it.
Last updated 21 October 2026
The short version
- We collect what the quote form asks for, and a record of the consent you gave.
- Your request goes to one licensed insurance agent. Not a list of callers.
- We do not sell your information to data brokers or lead aggregators.
- You can ask us to delete everything we hold about you, at any time, and we will. Here is how.
- CoverZing is not an insurance agency and does not sell insurance.
What we collect
All of it comes from you, through the quote form. We buy no data about you from anyone.
Who you are
First and last name, email address, mobile number, postal address and ZIP code, and date of birth where the product requires it.
What you asked about
Your answers to the quote questions - the vehicle, the property, the household, your current cover and what matters to you. Stored with your request.
Proof of your consent
The exact wording you were shown, the version of it, the time you agreed, the page you were on, your IP address and your browser's user-agent string.
How you got here
Referring page, campaign parameters in the link you followed, advertising click identifiers, device type, IP address and user-agent, and how far through the form you reached.
Health requests are different, on purpose. The health insurance form collects no health information. No conditions, no medications, no providers, no diagnoses. Ages are collected as ages rather than dates of birth, and household income only as a broad band. An agent can ask you about your health on the phone if it is relevant. We would rather not be holding it.
Why we collect it
- To pass your request to a licensed agent who can shop carriers for you. That is the whole point of the form, and it is the only reason the quote answers exist.
- To let that agent contact you, in the ways you agreed to and no others.
- To prove you agreed. The consent record is our evidence that the contact was lawful, which is why it is kept separately and never edited.
- To keep the form working and spot where it breaks. That is what the referrer, campaign and device information is for.
Who receives it
One licensed insurance agent. Your request goes to a single agent who works it directly. Not several agents, and not a pool of buyers. If that ever changes, the consent wording on the form changes with it and you see the new terms before you submit — never after.
Three service providers, each of which handles your information only to do a job for us:
Supabase — Database and authentication
Stores your request and the record of your consent. Hosted in the United States.
Cloudflare — Hosting and network
Serves this website and handles the request that carries your information to us.
Resend — Email delivery
Sends your confirmation email. Receives your name and email address, not the rest of your request.
Nobody else. We do not sell your information to data brokers, lead aggregators or marketing lists, and we do not trade it for anything of value. We will disclose it if the law genuinely requires it, and we will tell you unless we are forbidden from doing so.
How long we keep it
- Your request: 36 months after your last contact with us.
- Your consent record: 5 years. It outlives the request itself, because it is the proof that contacting you was lawful and a claim can be brought for years afterwards.
- Form and campaign data: 13 months.
- Opt-out records: indefinitely, and as a one-way fingerprint rather than your actual email or number. We keep it so that asking us to stop keeps working — deleting it is how companies start contacting you again by accident.
Being straight with you: these periods are our policy, not yet an automatic process. Nothing deletes itself on a schedule at present. If you ask us to delete your information we do it by hand, and we do it promptly.
What you can ask us to do
These apply to everyone who contacts us, not only residents of states that require them. It is less work than checking.
- Know. Ask what we hold about you and we will send it to you.
- Correct. Tell us what is wrong and we will fix it.
- Delete. Ask and we will erase your request. Your consent record stays, because it is the evidence of a past event and erasing it would leave us unable to show that contacting you was lawful.
- Opt out of sharing. See the do-not-sell-or-share page.
- Stop the calls and texts. Reply STOP to any text, or tell us by phone or email. Agreeing to calls was never a condition of using the form, and withdrawing it costs you nothing.
We will never charge you for any of this, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Children
This site is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted a request, tell us and we will delete it.
Security
Everything travels over an encrypted connection and is stored in a database with row-level access rules, so an agent can see the requests assigned to them and no others. Consent records cannot be edited or deleted by anyone, including us — the database refuses the change.
We never ask for payment details, card numbers or a social security number on this site. If a page claiming to be CoverZing asks you for any of those, it is not us.
Changes
If we change this policy we change the date at the top. Changes that affect who receives your information take effect for new requests only — what you agreed to when you submitted is what applies to your request.
Questions about any of this
Call or email and a person will answer. You do not have to have a request in progress, and you do not have to explain why you are asking.
